Diamond Frame
 Diamond frame is the most used motorcycle frame or chassis. Nowadays most motorcycles can be noticed with this diamond chassis. It is noticed that most of the bikes that use diamond frames are commuter bikes. The main reason most bikes use this diamond frame is its effectiveness. This frame has been named Diamond Frame because of its diamond shape. This diamond frame can be seen in bicycles from the beginning till now. The frame is circular in shape so that the name Diamond is more consistent with it and is used with minor modifications for use in motorcycles. In the diamond frame, the steering head is attached to the chassis via a single beam. This frame may look less powerful but this frame is actually much stronger. Here the pipe descending from the steering head actually provides very good support to hold the engine. The diamond frame is light in weight making it easy to use on any bike. |
