The choke is mainly used to impasse the air flow in the carburetor of a motorbike. This helps to enrich the combination of fuel and air as well as increases the engine's ability to start in low temperature conditions. Choke helps to ensure that there is adequate amount of air and fuel in the engine and helps to start the engine of the bike at different temperatures. The engine needs air and fuel to start. The combination of these two helps to start the engine, but due to climate and temperature if the amount of fuel and air among the engine is not right it hinders the engine to start in different weathers. To get rid of this interference choke is used, which provides the right amount of fuel and air to the engine. Choke is not much needed in summer, but it is necessary to start the engine in winter. |
