Yamalube 20W40 Mineral Engine Oil User Review By Faisal Akash

Greetings everyone, myself Faisal Hossain Akash, I am a beginner rider and I have ride since early 2023, currently I’m using Yamaha FZ-S V3, and this is my first bike and I have ridden this bike more than 2500 kilometers, as we all know Yamaha recommend Yamalube as their engine oil for their bikes and they claim that by using this engine oil you will get a great performance and a decent mileage also. So today I will share my using experience about this engine oil.

Positive side:

• As Yamaha claimed that by using this engine oil you will get a good performance and smoothness from your bike and a decent mileage also, and I’m getting it already.
• I got a great smoothness from my bike and the viscosity stays for a long time.
• There is no issue related to viscosity, my long ride experience is good with this engine oil.
• Gear shifting was also good in term of highway riding and city ride also.
• I brought engine oil from Yamaha service center, so there is no chance for duplicity, I get the authentic product.

Negative side:

• After 500 kilometers I feel lack of viscosity and smoothness and sound has also changed.
• This engine oil is slightly overpriced as a mineral oil.
• Drain period is too short, because this engine oil price is 640 taka, in my opinion this is an overpriced mineral engine oil and the drain period should be better.
• I feel a noise while riding after 600 kilometers.

So that’s about my using experience about this engine oil, please do not buy this engine oil outside Yamaha service center.
