Assalamualikum I’m Rawhun Purno, today I will share my using experience of Mobil 1 Racing 4T engine oil which I have been using from last 1.5 years and completed run more than 15000 kilometers in my TVS apache 160 4V bike. Mobil is a popular and well known brand in all over the world, and many of us knows engine oil as Mobil in our country, in this 1.5 years of using experience I have found some pros and cons about this engine oil, now I will tell about it below.
Pros:
• I have got a good performance and great smoothness after using this engine oil.

• In term of long ride this engine oil has perform well there is no heating issue and no lacking of smoothness after a long run.

• City ride performance is also good enough, throttle response is also good.

• Gear shifting is smooth than before, there is no need of oil top up as I don’t face oil burn issue and never get a less amount of oil after drain.

• Drain period is way better than other synthetic oil; I used to run 2500-3000 in a single drain.

Cons:
• Price of this engine oil has increase, all though they did not change or update any kind of engine oil formula, from my side this will be a cons of this engine oil.

• 10W30 grade of this oil is not available in the market; I found this as big negative thing about this oil.

• As we all know that TVS apache 4v has an engine oil capacity of 1.2 liter, some of engine Oil Company has specially bring 1.2 liter engine oil in a single bottle for some specific bikes, but Mobil does not have that quantity of oil in a bottle, so I have to brought 2 bottle for oil change, in my opinion this is a cons of this engine oil.

So that was my using experience about Mobil 1 Racing 4T engine oil, I hope this will help you make a decision about this engine oil. Previously I was using TVS TRU4 synthetic oil then I switch to this oil because I found tru4 doesn’t perform like fully synthetic oil, less drain period and lack of smoothness after a long run, I have to ride for my daily communicate and I also love to long tour with my bike so 1000 kilometers of drain period is very early according to me, that’s why I switch to Mobil 1 racing 4t engine oil, so that’s all about my using experience, thank you.
