Eni i-Ride 20W-40 Mineral user review by Md. Anowarul Abedin

I am not very serious about choosing engine oil but my 12 years old Bajaj Discover 150 bike needs a bit of thought. As my bike is quite old, everyone advises me to use synthetic engine oil, but after changing a couple of engine parts a few months ago, I felt like using mineral oil for a while.
With the first mineral engine oil I gave, I had a terrible experience, needless to say. It is true that switching from synthetic to mineral engine oil will cause engine performance to downfall. I have done this before but never had such a bad experience.
When I informed one of my colleagues about this situation, he advised me to use Eni i-Ride 20W-40 Mineral, which was not available in Rajshahi, because of which he specially managed it for me, with which I used it for about 600 km, leaving the previous one with only 200 km.
Needless to say that switching from synthetic to mineral is nothing new to me and I have noticed the reduction in engine performance that comes with it before but noticed something different after putting Eni i-Ride 20W-40 Mineral in the engine.
After giving the previous mineral engine oil, I did not get the normal sound of the engine, did not get the normal mileage, the normal smoothness is not to be think about, the problem of overheating of the engine was in a word horrible, due to this bad condition of the engine, I almost lost interest in riding the bike.
After getting Eni i-Ride 20W-40 Mineral engine oil at hand for a much lower price than the previous one, I replaced the previous one and gave this engine oil to my bike the same day. It's fair to say that I've done mineral after mineral before and had less problems with the second one than the first but the performance I'm getting with Eni i-Ride 20W-40 Mineral is just unbelievable because with mineral engine oil I'm getting almost synthetic engine oil performance. I have never had two minerals in a row before.
Now I notice that my bike's engine performs almost as well as it did with synthetic engine oil.
• Engine sound is ok
• Mileage is ok
• Smoothness is great
• Overheating is reduced
• No problem in clutch, pick up, gear change
• Earlier engine oil used to emit a smelly visible smoke through the silencer, now there is some smell but no visible smoke.
Overall considering the price Eni i-Ride 20W-40 Mineral, is an unexpectedly good engine oil that I never thought I would get from a mineral engine oil.
As a regular biker and considering my old bike I will tell the ENI authorities to make 20w-50 full synthetic engine oil available in the market very soon. If I get the full synthetic then I will not use any engine oil other than ENI.
