X Lite X803 RS UC GOLDEN EDITION User Review by Yuvraj

Greeting everyone! This is Yuvraj, and I am a passionate biker. Love to ride bikes, because I love travelling. Another thing I like is to gather motorcycle safety and riding gears like boots, helmets, jackets, gloves and other gears. If I mention about my helmet collection I have KYT, AGV, MT, LS2 and all are certified. From that enthusiasm I bought X-Lite X803 RS UC GOLDEN EDITION. Whenever I first saw this helmet I literally become pleased with the helmet. First I thought about buying a shark helmet, but instead of that I bought this model.

After riding more than 5000 kilometers wearing this X-Lite X803 RS UC GOLDEN EDITION, I found a few advantages and disadvantages about this helmet. Let me discuss those for you all.

Firstly, this helmet is fully carbon wrapped with golden lines, which is why looks very attractive. then the best part is the ventilation and the weight distribution. This helmet weighs around 1400 grams+ weight, but I never felt it heavy while riding. The weight distribution is perfect and due to that I can use it for long journeys. Furthermore, the ventilation quality is superb and for that airflow never gets stuck and I can comfortably ride. Last but not the least, quick release straps and comfortable inner liner makes my riding more comfortable inside city and highways as well.

On the other hand, I found two big issues on my X-Lite X803 RS UC GOLDEN EDITION. This helmet doesn’t come with any communicator facility. After paying a good amount of money for this helmet should expect communicator. Meanwhile, the inner padding doesn’t have any facility to install the communicator as well. We are in a modern era and while riding we have many important calls to attend and sometimes we need to track many things, so communicator placement is necessary as it doesn’t offer built in facility. Another thing I face is the visor lock, it is really very stiff. Sometimes releasing the visor become so much disturbing to me.

Without these two issues I am pleased with the performance of X-Lite X803 RS UC GOLDEN EDITION. If ACI motors is reading my review, I would like to ask for communicator facility at least. Because after paying such amount of money any other renowned brand will offer me a helmet with built-in communicator facility.
