Yamalube Optima Scooter Engine Oil Review by Fuad

Hello everyone my name is Fuad and today I’m going to share my user review of my Yamalube optima engine oil 10W40 in my Yamaha Ray ZR street scooter, Yamalube is an oil manufacturing company from Yamaha, they made varieties of lubricants for their vehicles, and Yamaha claim that Yamalube is best for their vehicles and you will get the best performance by using the engine oil, I have been using this engine oil since I brought my scooter and use almost 6000 kilometers with this engine oil and today I will share some positive and negative thing I have been notice while using this engine oil.

Pros:

• I use my scooter for daily communicate and some time I have to go for a long distance ride, in term of long ride this engine oil has perform well.
• Price is reasonable in my thought.
• Drain period is also decent, I have run almost 1000km each.
• City ride performance was very good I didn’t found issue.
• Throttle response is also good.
• I don’t need to oil top up.

Cons:

• This engine oil is not widely available in this country because I did not found this oil outside Yamaha showroom; this will be a negative side from my opinion.
• They did not have semi-synthetic or synthetic engine oil for scooter, only mineral engine oil is available for scooter only, also mineral engine oil has a less drain period than semi-synthetic and synthetic engine oil.
• At the use of beginning I have face some issues, like heating issue and smoothness was not much, but it has solve after some times.

So that was mu using experience of Yamalube optima mineral engine oil, I hope this review will help you to take a decision, this is my first experience with this engine oil and didn’t use anything before, company claim that Yamaha vehicles performs better with this engine oil and I also experienced that, but their engine oil is available in their showroom, so always buy the authentic oil from their showroom.
