RAVENOL is German Lubricant Company which was formerly known as RavensbergerSchmierstoffvertrieb GmbH founded in 1946 by Hans Triebel in a small town of Werther in Westphalia, Germany. From the establishment, the company was focused its undertakings on manufacturing mono-grade lubricating oils, grease, and a very specific range of industrial cleaning chemical products. In view of that, the sales area also was within Germany.
In 1954, the company registered its brand name RAVENOL and expanded its product range that includes industrial oil and coolant products. Thereafter, in 1964 the company introduced its multi-grade oils and thereby also expanded its product ranges for the full range of automotive and bicycle care products. Hence, with this modernization and expansion, RAVENOL introduced SAE grades 10W-30 and 20W-50 multi-grade oils in the market. In the following years, RAVENOL was steadily increased and expanded its capability and capacity by its infrastructure and product portfolio. Accordingly, the market also expanded into many countries in the world. By this time RAVENOL also extended its product range and in 1985 it introduced high-quality semi-and fully synthetic lubricating oils.
Nowadays, RAVENOL is engaged in many business sectors, especially the automotive, engineering, steel, and construction sectors. Hence RAVENOL oils, lubricants, and chemical products serve the transport industry, agriculture, mining sector, as well as the small machinery and the heavy industries. Further, a range of automobile care products and cleaning agents were extended its product line. Accordingly, RAVENOL is now commercially serving in over 80 countries in the world.
