SR-GP
The name we chose for Suomy's brand new racing helmet speaks volumes about the soul of this revolutionary model.
Developed in collaboration with Andrea Dovizioso, official MotoGP rider, and also tested in extreme situations such as the 2019 Tourist Trophy, SR-GP fits decidedly at the top of the Suomy range.

High protection, innovative ergonomics, exceptional field of vision and reframing in the study of aerodynamics, are the keywords that give life to SR-GP.
SR-GP is also synonymous with a transformation in terms of ventilation: the outer shell has in fact ducts that provide a more effective air flow inside the helmet, and a particular rear spoiler that significantly increases aerodynamic performance and air extraction.

Safety
To have adequate protection, the helmet must fit perfectly and be correctly and securely fastened, so that it cannot be removed either by pulling or rotating the same on the head. If it is too large, it can go down to cover the eyes or turn sideways while driving, thus preventing correct visibility.

CAP. The shell is made of TRICARBOCO material. the new composite is a mixture of carbon fiber with various weights / breaking loads and aramid composite which allows to have a very light shell but at the same time even more resistant to impact. To satisfy the needs of the most demanding motorcyclist, SR-GP is made in 4 different caps (S, M, L and XL).



INTERNAL POLYSTYRENE. The internal protective polystyrene is made in four sizes (S, M, L and XL) in order to offer the best possible ergonomics. The particular conformation and the differentiated destitution construction increases the mechanical resistance in case of accidental impact. A differentiated density increased the mechanical resistance in case of accidental impact. A diversified density of the polystyrene itself allows to optimize the mechanical performance of the shell-polystyrene complex, guaranteeing the maximum degree of absorption in all areas of the helmet itself.

VISOR . The visor is made of optical class 1 injection polycarbonate with variable thickness and anti-scratch treatment. The visor is easily removable thanks to a practical mechanism, without the use of tools. The release lever is in particular metal alloy which gives greater solidity to the assembly. The visor also features the "Racing Lock System" closing mechanism. This mechanism reduces the possibility of detachment of the visor when sliding. SR-GP is prepared and equipped with PINLOCK MAX VISION 120.

RETENTION SYSTEM. The strap is equipped with a D-Ring closure (Suomy patent) in anti-corrosion stainless steel and fixed strap button. The fixing bottoene is positioned in a completely free and accessible area and allows an easy and comfortable operation of the release system even with gloves on.
