Idea Project's startup Scoot is moving ahead with its promise to produce eco-friendly and advanced technology e-bikes. Scoot and Walton signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to jointly develop e-bikes. Scoot and Walton will manufacture eco-friendly and advanced technology e-bikes in Bangladesh. Both companies aim to create high-quality and advanced products while improving the riding experience for customers.
A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed on the evening of July 13 at the corporate head office of Walton Digitech Industries Limited located in Bashundhara, Dhaka. The MoU was signed by Scoot Limited's Managing Director “Kazi Ridwan Ahmed” and Walton Digitech Industries Limited's Chief Business Officer “Md. Tauhidur Rahman”.
Scoot's director “Sihab Khan” and “Parth Roy” and Walton Digitech Industries Limited's Head of Marketing were present at this time. “Taufiq Imam”, Deputy Assistant Director of Sales, “Fuad Rahman” and Deputy Director of E Bike “Kaykobad Siddiqui”.
SCOOT Limited received pre-seed stage grant from IDEA project in 2022. Along with other startups, Scoot is growing rapidly as a portfolio startup of Idea Project. Apart from grants, the idea project also provides regular mentoring, training and networking as per the needs of the startups as well as free co-working space facilities. “Sohag Chandra Das”, head of communication and consultant of Idea Project, said that along with increasing the skills of startups, it is also playing a significant role in the development, promotion and expansion of business.
