Indian startup GT-Force unveiled their three electric two-wheeler models. The company unveiled a total of three two-wheeler models at the 2021 EV India Expo at the India Expo Center in Greater Noida. One is a high and one low speed electric scooter and the other is an electric motorcycle. The GT Drive and GT Drive Pro electric scooters both have eye-catching designs. On the other hand, GT-Force did not name the motorcycle.
GT Drive is a high speed electric scooter with a top speed of 60 kmph. Once fully charged, its range is 150 km. This scooter with lithium ion battery pack has three drive modes - Economy, Standard and Turbo. It also has a cruise control system so that the driver can maintain uninterrupted speed.
The GT Drive Pro, on the other hand, is a low-speed electric scooter. It will cover 75 km on a single charge. Also its maximum speed is 25 km per hour. It does not require a driving license. The company is going to bring this e-scooter for normal distance travel. It will match the battery version of both lead acid and lithium-ion alternatives.
Apart from these two, GT-Force has shown another model of motorcycle. It is expected to be launched in the second half of 2022. “Rajesh Saitya”, co-founder and CEO of GT-Force, said of their product, “We are expanding our product lineup in such a way that the people of the country can meet the challenges of the journey one by one. Once the electric vehicle is within reach, people will put it on their list of favorites”.
The EV brand has expanded its distributor network to 70 cities across India. The company has even set a target of opening 150 distributors in the current financial year. “Mukesh Taneja”, co-founder of the company, said, "We are working hard to deliver our products to any part of the country."
We can expect that this e-bike will be available in Bangladesh very soon if it is launched in our neighboring country India and we will get a clear idea about the price once the GT-Force marketing starts in full swing in the Indian market.
