Bike Riding and caring tips for rainy days

Rainy session is one of the six sessions of Bangladesh. It brings new color in the nature and people feel peace and cool after the extreme hit of summer. But rainy session is not so good for motorbike.

Some problems and solution regarding bike riding during the time of rainy session are given below.

Roads and Highways
In our country, roads and highways goes under the water in rainy session specially village roads it follows that path becomes slippery or satiny. Which make difficulty for the biker to control their bike. So, ride within 35 KM to 45 KM would be right speed to control bike in monsoon.

Engine
Engine is known as the power house of bike. That's why engine remain hot in the time of riding. If rain fall directly on the engine then it may create some problems such as water can be pass, through engine air cooler into the engine box or durability may reduce.

In that case, stop riding in the rainy session would be right choice but it is not possible. That's why bike producer provide some protection in the engine to prevent this type of problem. For more safety you can use engine protector cover to prevent your engine in rainy session.

Brake
Brake means control and safety which is very important for the bike riders. In rainy session, maximum time riders have to ride their bike in rain, therefore biker can not have clear front view and rain also make road slippery following that water or wet soil can stuck into the drum brake as well as in disk brake that hamper the function of braking system. As a result some times brake does not work properly, it only stop rotation of wheels but bike move forward because of slippery nature of the road.

Thereby, do not run your bike in high speed in rainy session.

Other essential parts
Silencer, ignition key, wire, wheels or metal bodies are also important parts of motorbike. Need to take care of mentioning parts in rainy session. As we all know, in our country, some road goes under water in rainy session, in that case if you run your bike in that types of road than water can pass into the silencer and can create problem in engine start following that metal spoke as well as metal body can become rusty. So always try to avoid that road, which flooded by water.

Some essential suggestion are given below that will help you to protect your bike in rainy session.

1. Keep your bike 5 to 10 minutes in stand after riding in rainy session that will dropped out water from your bike.
2. If possible used motorbike cover to protect your bike from water as well as from mud or dust.
3. Wear rain coat or waterproof jacket it will help you to keep dry and safe from rain water and dirt.
