TVS Phoenix user review by Tasnub Tahnab

I am Tasnub Tahnab. For fulfilling my daily transportation need and for doing some important works I am using TVS Phoenix 125cc motorcycle. At first I want to say a bad side of this bike which is the outlook, I really don’t thing as a 125cc bike this kind of outlook is required. Whatever I think like this maybe other will not. Design cannot make me pleased but the build quality does. Whenever I ride with my bike at different roads I think I feel this bike is very durable and strong. For one year I am riding this bike but no lacking at the build quality is seen to me.



On the other hand I saw the engine is very powerful. From this 125cc air cooled engine I have got 108 KM/L top speed and still I am getting 65 KM/L mileage. Even I didn’t feel any kind of bad smell, sound or extra heat during my ride on high RMP.



Seating position is average I guess because while long time riding I feel back pain and I also think the combination of footrest and the seat is not that ideal. I think this bike is designed for the old ager rider. Young age riders like low handlebar so it is not for us actually. After crossing 70 KM/ H speed I feel little bit of vibration with my bike. Headlamp power is perfect for city riding but for the highways it is not so perfect.

As a 125cc bike I think the braking is perfect and I can control this bike through braking at any kind of condition and the brakes are very supportive. At the off roads this bike supports pretty well with the suspensions both suspensions are effective like the brakes. Tyre size and gripping is also perfect according to the cc and body dimension. I haven’t faced skidding problem often with these tires.



I have checked all the features of this bike and one of the interesting one is, whenever a problem creates at this bike it gives a “ERROR” signal at the meter panel and I can easily understand that I have to service my bike.

I think based on the recent motorcycle market I think the price range of this bike is little bit higher because other 125cc bike are holding lesser price tag. So for the manufacturing company I would like to recommend please reduce the price little bit.

I am preparing myself to buy HONDA CBR and hopefully it will be done soon.
