TVS Apache RTR Vs Hero Hunk
In Bangladesh demand of 150 cc motorcycles are rising very rapidly. Different companies from dissimilar countries are available in our country to fulfill the demand of the riders. In those companies we have TVS, Hero moto corp, Bajaj, Yamaha, Honda etc. All these companies are very popular and their products are very good at their performance. At the local market there are two popular motorcycles can be found, one is known for its speed and other one is for its wonderful performance and dashing looks. These two motorcycles are known as TVS Apache RTR and other is Hero Hunk. So let us compare the main features of these two motorcycles from bellow the line, which will be supportive to know about these two motorcycles.
Looks:
Good looks are really important to attract a rider, and this side rider will not complain much about the looks of these two motorcycles. TVS Apache contains sporty outlooks with good color combination. It has a larger side kit which is able to cut the air very smoothly and that is why its outlooks are preferable than the previous models of Apache. Other side Hero hunk contains bold and decent outlooks. This outlook is loved by all kind of riders. Although Hunk is not so sporty at the looks but it has an attractive looks.
Dimension:
For good controlling it is essential to have a good dimension and as 150cc motorcycles both these bikes contains well made dimension. Hero Hunk contains a dimension of 2080length, 765mm width and 1095 mm height. At the wheelbase it has 1325mm and a ground clearance of 145mm. other hand if we talk about the dimension of RTR 150 both are almost similar but it has a large rang of ground clearance than Hunk which is 165mm. So we can say without any doubt both are good at their own dimension.
Engine quality:
Without good engine motorcycles can be compared with bicycles. So engine quality must have to be good and these two motorcycles are really good at this side. TVS Apache contains 150cc 4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled engine. This engine can produce 11.19 kW (15.2 bhp) @8500 rpm max power and 13.1 Nm @ 4000 rpm max torque. on the other hand Hero Hunk contains 149.2cc Air cooled, 4 - stroke single cylinder engine which can produce 10.6 kW (14.4 Ps) @ 8500rpm max power and 12.80 N - m @ 6500 rpm. Both these bikes are perfectly made and with this type of engine both bikes will give good top speed and mileage. But Apache RTR has better torque that is why it will give better top speed than Hunk.
Suspension, tyres and brakes:
At the suspensions Hero Hunk containsTelescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and Swing arm with Nitrox Gas reservoir suspension at the rear side. Apache RTR also contains similar quality suspensions. But at the tyres they are not the same. Hero Hunk has a front tyre of 80/100 x 18-47 P Tubeless tyre at the front and 100 / 90 X 18 -56 P, Tubeless tyres at the rear side. Other hand RTR has 90/90 x 17 front tyres and 110/80 x 17 rear tyres and both are tubeless. At the brakes both bikes contains the combination of Disc and Drum brakes.
So these are the common features of these bikes. both are well featured and handsomely made by their companies.
